Some days I wonder why I put up with all the BS that I do...
It seems that with every corner I look around I end up getting a raw deal. Now I have a lot to be thankful for but sometimes, I guess I just need to call a spade a spade.
All things that have been less than stellar for me since I moved...but what can you do?
Sometimes I know I am too nice....but bachi should come around...I just wonder when...
A simple four letter word could fix a lot of the feelings incorporated by my melancholy nature...
If you figure out the word, then let me know.....4 years and counting....I wish I could quit you.....

Awe...
The world is such a beautiful place...
Even my own little niche carved out in Manoa....
I am in awe of mother nature and all her splendor...
Plus, beautiful women are easy on the eyes too...
Here's to gorgeous vistas, breathtaking views, memorable sunsets, and beautiful women....
Life is good

1 is the loneliest number...
Home is where the heart it...
But what if your heart is damaged?
Here are some pictures of the places I have called home....
St. Helens (pop 10,000)
Corvallis (pop 60,000)

Durango (pop 12,000)

Los Angeles (pop 15 million)
Honolulu (pop 800,000)
4 cities I have lived in since left home in 1999, when I left home for school.

SB 09 Snorkleling Recap
Snorkeling extravaganza....
Kaiona Beach Park is my new official favorite spot on the island.
No more long lines, paying to park, killing my knees on the way down and up the hill, and tourists at Hanauma Bay.
Kaiona is so much better, especially since its not trashed with all of the garbage and people walking on the coral. Lots of pretty coral, fish, and bright blue water to partake in. Also a man-made lagoon with no rocks and warm water to boot, with a shore break to protect you from the wind and waves.
So if you are in the Waimanalo area, right past Makapu and Sea Life Park, but before Kenicky's shave ice...you are in luck!

Rant about Corporate America
So, this is a rant, hope it is not too chaotic.
Boise Cascade.... a few things come to mind when I hear that name...
paper, timber, pulp, chemicals, long hours, money, hard work, stench, river, college money, selfish, life support, community, and much more.
Yesterday my father called me up and told me that the St. Helens paper mill was closing and I instantly felt sick to my stomach. How do you talk to your dad about losing his job? We had always talked about it in passing, but nothing major. I mean, my dad was in school, learning a new trade, trying to make it out before it happened...
And look what occured... the mill closes, leaving over 300 workers laid off and a vast majority of the mill shut down...forever..a community that has grown to over 12,000 in the last 20 years is now on the verge of collapse..the mill was the town....the "commuters" from portland are not the lifeblood...the locals are the ones keeping the town afloat....but now, what jobs are available?
I know that we just got a new president and that his economic policies will not take affect for a while, but how will the jobless benefit from the tax cuts, if they do not have a job? It's time to take some action, put jobs back in america, and quit padding CEO's bank accounts... the working class need a chance to survive..
I was spared a life of working at the mill, from the hard work of my parents and the importance of education that they instilled within me...the sacrifices have not been in vain, and I am glad to not be working at the mill, but I can only think of those less fortunate than me....
Timber is not the safe, fishing is not the same, the northwest corner of oregon is in peril, much more a downward spiral...what will it take to let it survive? I am at a loss...
To those who lost their jobs, I wish you luck and hopefully the community will not slowly implode....
You can never go home again...so true..........
