Shaka on!

Since 2004 I have left Oregon State, Fort Lewis College, University of Southern California, and now the University of Hawaii-Manoa for new opportunities and the hardest goodbye by far has been leaving my RHA students behind....thank you for the celebration tonight...Shaka on RHA, Shaka on!

New Beginnings

Moving to Anchorage at the end of the month...a few more days left in Honolulu.

I decided with a help of a friend, that I am going to start writing on here more often and with a story a week to regale to the world.

So, in the new future, look out for a new story...mostly funny happenings to me or my friends, but mostly stupid situations I have put myself in or things I have witnessed...

Crossroads of Emotion

I sit here at the precipice of an all too familiar emotion
Yet I promise myself that this one will be different
That this adventure will be the one that changes everything

My life will change for the better
My life will be no worse for the wear

Just how much investment should I rely on
From the one that is holding my heart in the balance of their fragile mind

Am I doomed from the start, destined to be disappointed
Why do I put myself in this precarious position
To have my true essence disposed of so easily

My excitement wanes when it should be soaring
As I get the hint that the threshold of harmony is about to be violated
From which it may never recover
As I let my true feelings spill forth

Mistakenly I let my true colors show, I reveal who I really am
And that is too much, in this time and place, in the here and now
Is it too much to want something more, to feel loved in at least some part of your life

Destined to be unlucky, to still be searching for your bearer of the torch
The torch that lights the fire in your eyes, in your heart, and your very soul
The passionate flames igniting something primal inside of you

And my head keeps spinning, I can't stop having these visions.
I gotta get with it or get over it

Screwed over again

Some days I wonder why I put up with all the BS that I do...

It seems that with every corner I look around I end up getting a raw deal. Now I have a lot to be thankful for but sometimes, I guess I just need to call a spade a spade.

All things that have been less than stellar for me since I moved...but what can you do?

Sometimes I know I am too nice....but bachi should come around...I just wonder when...

A simple four letter word could fix a lot of the feelings incorporated by my melancholy nature...

If you figure out the word, then let me know.....4 years and counting....I wish I could quit you.....

Awe...

The world is such a beautiful place...

Even my own little niche carved out in Manoa....

I am in awe of mother nature and all her splendor...

Plus, beautiful women are easy on the eyes too...

Here's to gorgeous vistas, breathtaking views, memorable sunsets, and beautiful women....

Life is good
